Caught between missions
My window-shopping fratella
Sighs over dresses and kitsch souvenirs
Pretty as a cyborg doll
The radiance of that conditioned smile
When she looks upon the face of (God?)
This burnt-out discard
Of other mens' politics
Was once as stupid as yourself
With none of the excuses.
Frozen in the moment
Between hammer fall and cartridge ignition
Between your voided past
And our violent death
You believe we spent a lifetime together
Father daughter
Brother sister
(Lover?)
Your love is in the pills
I place into your trusting palm.

No idea mate... I'm going to hazard a guess though and say something in how word stores formatting doesn't interface well with the forum. I find if you copy and paste into a .txt editor first (say, notepad) it gets rid of any of that and seems to solve the problem.
