Hi, everyone! im West Nile. Same guy who has an account in Fanfic.net. Saw this sight when i downloaded, GSG vol. 7. Glad to see that Gunslinger Girl has alot of fans. Only found out about this amazing anime/manga last Sept. 2007 instantly fell in love with it. Happy to be here Ciao!

I dunno... it kinda raises my spirits to speak (type, whatever) to young women who have deeper interests than shopping for shoes... I know several, but... still, low percentage.
to be fair, most men I know have no deeper interests than professional sports, and no taste for beverages beyond what can get 'em drunk for cheap.

Same here, always considered a girl with a taste for guns, really... different in a good way. That's why i got into GSG in the first place. It was like "ooh, violence! ooh, guns! ooh, really cute girls with guns!!" it was love at first sight.

Really? ^__^ Thanks!! Well when I read your discription of 'women with deeper intrests than shoes' I thought of my sister! ^o^ Girls with intrests like me aren't apriciated where I go to school and I'm made fun of all the time. Like people say:

"Why do you like dinosaurs and Star Wars? Those are guy things to like."

Stuff like that. Thats why it makes me happy to know I can really open up here. ^_^ Thanks you guys!! :yaay:

Lol, My parents watch anime with me sometimes. Hell, they LOVED Gunslinger Girl. But some anime... just doesn't click with them...

For instance, I was trying out Nanoha one time, and they questioned my tastes in shows. I ended up not liking Nanoha aways, but still, it' was pretty much an lol-moment.
