More Greetings

Hello everybody, nice to meet you.

I do have to admit, I joined this site mainly for one particular section, even though its not one of the more active ones (Round Robins & Squared Sparrows). Basically, I've got a couple of characters I've been coming up with that I'd like to take a shot at trying to roleplay if I can. Is anyone else interested in trying something like that? (I noticed a few people had been active in a collaborative writing project in that section -unfortunately I'm kind of starting from scratch with my characters so joining that might not work too well.)

Also, anyone got an idea for something I could put down for a website in my profile? I don't really have one of my own that I want to link to, but its required that I link to something, so I'm looking for suggestions. Linking to google doesn't feel quite right somehow.

Welcome, Piero - please do feel free to contribute to the role-play threads (or any of the others) at any time you wish. If you're iffy about throwing your characters into the fray so soon, perhaps you could post some information about them (profiles) in this thread beforehand that we could find out more and acclimatize. And where profile website links are concerned, we normally link to things like our FanFiction.net author pages, DeviantArt pages or MySpace profiles. Don't hesitate to ask any of us for assistance if needed!

If you want to try stuff, just do it. If you don't want to join an ongoing story, just make your own. The worst that can happen is that it won't take off.

I posted the profiles for the characters I'm hoping to RP in the thread Nachtsider indicated. Still wondering on the website thing though.

And yes, I did name my online alias after my the handler in the Cyborg/Handler pair I created for roleplaying on this site. Probably not the most original way to come up with a name, but hopefully it'll work.

So it's okay for me to just
start a new thread? Been thinking that might be best, given that both
my characters are new to their roles, and as such I'm not so sure about
throwing them in the middle of a thread with the SWA on the run. At her
current level, Diana would probably slow Piero down more then she would
help him.

And to think I changed it from 'Pietro' to 'Piero' because I didn't want him to have the same name as that Section One guy. Now he has the same name as someone's dog!

Its not really a bad thing though. Those sorts of things happen in real life too.

For a website, I think I put down yahoo, although I may have put down google. I use both. Google being my search engine and yahoo being my news source. I should probably change it to my fanfiction or my fictionpress account though.

I may have to check out the RP soon too.
