Just thinking about this scene where Petra is about to blurt out that she snogged her handler, but was interrupted.

How about a story based on what would happen if a group of jealous teens with access to automatic weapons and high explosives found out one of their own was actually (gasp!) ''kissing'' her handler! What might they demand of their own handlers in turn?

It all depends on whether or not any of the other cyborgs in question have feelings of 'that kind' towards their handlers. People should realize it's a myth that all cyborgs do.

Several handlers and second-generation cyborgs casually saunter out of the Technology Department building. They have slow, wandering smiles and dreamy, unfocused, faraway expressions. Doctor Belisario watches them go, with a satisfied and fulfilled expression.

Belisario: "Well, that should help keep the budget balanced for a while."

At that point, Ferro appears behind his shoulder. Her lips are pursed in anger, and she carries a camcorder in her hand.

Ferro: "Doctor..."

The next day, Belisario emerges from a nondescript concrete block of a government building in a district of Rome that's well away from the touristy bits, after being subjected to the interminable torture of fourteen consecutive hours of Sensitivity Training. He looks up to the sky and flashes a big, beaming smile.

Belisario: "Totally worth it."

What the hell have they done, Ferro and Belisario, in this nondescript building (say a 'motel'')?
Something dirty in the bedroom, right? Evil

And what the hell they did to the other handlers and 2nd gen cyborgs????

Possibly a good thing for Monty that Kara's not the violently-jealous sort... Not that she's likely to give a brass razoo what Kara thinks.

In fact she'd probably consider a little bit of general cyborg jealousy and resentment as a compliment... and as a way of cementing her in-another-league-ness.

Monty: I still don't see where the issue is.

Triela: You went out, off compound and unsupervised, with another cyborg's handler.

Monty:
*seeing an opportunity for some quiet winding up* It'd been a long day at work, Michele invited me to the bar. We had a scintillating conversation over drinks and then went back to the handlers' dorm. That's what adults do.
