Hey, this is my first post. I'm the admin of the Gunslinger Girl Wiki, and a big fan of the series. One of my site contributors pointed me in the direction of Cyborg Central. Looks like a great forum!

Welcome aboard! A GsG wiki has been a long time coming...we have a member here (ElfenMagix) who has constructed an OC wiki for the purpose of cataloguing original fan fiction work but it does not cover canon.

The Wiki's been registered for over a year, but the first admin abandoned it back in 2009. I took it over in November, and I need as much help as I can get! Calling all fratellos!

Claes doesn't get nearly enough airtime, though. She's a favorite too.

A few of us have been keeping the Wikipedia entry for GSG up to date (speaking of which, I need to do some updates).

And the plural of fratello is fratelli.

At risk of sounding stupid ...
... do I have to keep hitting "refresh" to see new posts?

Is it just me, or did that sound like something Ferro said in Season One?

Clicking the Home button on the main page will refresh and a green button will appear next to any forum with new posts.

You can also click on the "View Posts Since Last Visit" link under the chat box, but that generally resets (to show new posts) after about 20-30 minutes.

Hey I'm back. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

On a side note, I bought myself a leather jacket a few days ago. You know, like the kind Lauro wore. The associate selling it to me said, "do you want to condition it?"

I swear I almost went to say, "yes, but too much will shorten it's lifespan."

I've done it too. A few weeks ago I was watching some movie that involved cyborgs (don't ask me the name...I don't remember, it was crap) and I thought "That's ridiculous...you can't make an adult into a cyborg!"

No OCs yet ... I only just discovered GSG last summer while recovering from the ill-effects of Appleseed withdrawal. Went through the hell of getting the out-of-print ADV GSG volumes brought in, all six of them, only to later find out that Seven Seas could have saved me the trouble. Oh well, I would do it again just for the cover art ...

My only regret is shelling out top dollar for il Teatrino on blu-ray.
Actually, for buying it at all. VIVE LA SEASON ONE!

Although I wouldn't mind making fanfics, I'm too busy running both the Appleseed Wiki and the Gunslinger Girl Wiki. And trying in vain to get people to contribute anything on either of them!

Your wiki certainly has an appealing front end - a lot more effort has gone into the design than you'd find in most places. You can't be accused of just screwing on a boilerplate! I've dabbled with GSG's entry over at TVTropes, but I'll see if I can help flesh out entries on this wiki too.

Speaking of which, my corner of the OC wiki is horrendously out of date. I need to get round to updating it sometime, although I should prioritise some actual new writing first...

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

To be honest, I never really thought about a fratello between Claes and Marco. It would be interesting as a team up since it could be based more on understanding of a similar situation rather than on drugs/tech.
Actually, now that I really think about it, has much been shown about Marco recently?

Indeed it is. The girl's Monty, my own GsG OC. Though the Golden Gun isn't actually something she uses, her style's always been very "classic Bond Girl"... so the opportunity to picture her with it was too good to pass up
