Random article that I came across today. I found out a few interesting things from it. Did any of you know that a traditional Italian Christmas dinner contains no meat other than seafood?

That's pretty neat. Last night, my brother and I were talking about Christmas cake, and wishing we had that here in the US. Why should Japan and the UK have all the fun?

In Japan it's a "real" cake (at least the ones the girls and I bought for each other last year).

The Germans make something called Rumtopf (Rum Pot). The first strawberries (or whatever fruit you chose) of the year are sealed up in a pot full of sugar & high-proof rum and allowed to sit until the Christmas season, when it's served as a sauce over pastry or ice cream.
