Figure help!

I went to AnimeNext in hopes of finding a K-On figure of Yui.



I scoured the figure booths for all 3 days but to no avail. All they had was the Yui action figure, which I have. I ended up getting this Misuzu figure instead. ^_^



I'm looking for a reasonable price for the Yui figure, but they're all really expensive. Is there a site that has a good price for it? :3

I have that Misuzu figure, so good choice!

If I recall that Yui figure is done by Alter. I checked around the typical sites I use but they be sold out. You'd have to be preparied to spend around $110 for it.


Edit: Amazon has them for around $100.

Most of my Alter Figures are around 70-80, with one larger figure costing me $110.

Edit 2: One NY Based vendor in Amazon has it for 94+shipping.

Thanks so much Nuke! I guess I'll start saving. When it comes time to tell my mom I want to buy a 100$ figure she can't say no, since I already have the money saved just for that. ^_^;;;

I have the other Deadpool (action) figure, it's not hard to find, but that one looks awesome.

Well, HLJ was asking about US$230... which is on par for the Marvel/Kotobukiya figurines. Part of me's gawking at the price. Another, slightly louder part of me thinks that it's entirely resonable and that I should re-arrange some financial priorities.

Aaaah, I remember the Marvel Bishoujo Black Widow figure going around a while ago. Unfortunately it seems to be out of stock everywhere, since I think it was a limited edition thing. Aww, man.



Maybe it'll be on eBay sometime.

Yeah, most of the higher end Marvel (And DC for that matter too I guess) seem to be limited runs. I guess that's fair enough too. I mean, if I just dropped $250-300 on a figurine I'd probably want to think there was a little exclusivity about it

Back to Black Widow, there was a pretty good one of Rogue as well from that series if memory serves correctly.

Just saw that Right Stuf is taking pre-orders for the January release of the Perrine Closterman figure. Sanya is the cuter one, I agree.

I never knew there was so much more released for Strike Witches than just the anime and figures. The games and manga have yet to be imported in spite of being started in '08. Evidently the african-campaign doujinshi was supposed to be included with the dvd's but was cut by budgets.

Sanya is part of a pretty awesome yuri couple, indeed. I have an Erica figure, and I want to get the rest of the Karlsland girls.

I want the Erica, but it's all sold out. Plus on ebay it's too expensive. I really like Eila too. I'm gonna work on getting her as well. ^_^ Who is Sanya coupled with most of the time Five?

If I ever get some Strike Witches figures, the first thing I'm gonna do is get to my sewing machine and make them some pants.

It's usually Eila, Tri.

Sanya is one of my favorite characters in Strike Witches because she's so criminally adorable.

Ahaha! It looks like I'm gonna be getting the couple then! Sanya and Eila are my faves! XD Oh well.

I think so too. Currently I have the Yoshi figure from that series. This one...

You GUYYYYYYS!!! I norrowed it down to those figures but then... I found this on ebay. I might forgo the Strike Witches figures all together (NOT my Yui though) to get THIS!





It's the Darth Maul statue I've been waiting for! All the ones are nice, (there are tons of him with his lightsaber, or speeder bike) and expensive (over 180$) but this is a pre-order that I can get for 100$. I REALLY want it. It's DARTH MAUL! He looks so amazing!!! <33333

Hmm, Kotobukiya's movie tie-ins tend to be expensive, but also worth it.

Honestly, not the best quality figure out there (there's a little support under her foot that particularly bugs me), but Shangri-La stuff is thin on the ground.
