Yeah it's a Bentley Continental GTC, but I figure Michele rented it for a mission since his Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder only has two seats and Claes refused to sit on Kara's lap. Razz

All current model Lamborghini's are mid-engined (so aft of the cabin and forward of the rear-wheels). Their earliest models were front-engined with the Miura the first mid-engined model. Most everything they made after that was also mid-engined with the exception of the Espada and Islero and the LM002 SUV.

Even crazier; I've seen (video) of this demonstration. The Lamborghini engineer sat backwards in the door-sil and maneuvered the car in facing in the direction of the parking spot behind him. The engine of course has enough torque to move the car without any throttle, but I never figured out how he was working the clutch...maybe it was an automatic.

Jeremy Clarkson did this in the studio with a Countach in Top Gear Series 3, Episode 4. I believe it's the same one James May was reviewing earlier in the segment, which would make it a manual.

Lamborghini rolled out a new concept car - the Sesto Elemento. It leverages their work for Boeing in the field of carbon-composites, which are used to not only the chassis, but also things like the suspension and exhausts (ala Formula One). About the size of a Gallardo, it weighs only 1000kg - over 400kg lighter than the Gallardo Superleggera ("super light").

The Elemento looks like awesome... The red highlights are a nice touch.

Bit dissapointed with the Blancpain edition though. To be honest it looks a little, I dunno, half arsed? Like they slapped some decals and embroiderly on and were done. It's a pity because, from memory, the Blancpain liveried cars look pretty awesome.
