Weird Pairings

I'm not sure if this is on the right sub forum, but here's a thread to discuss and make fun of all the weird pairings youv'e seen in GsG fanfics.

To start this thread off, here are a few weird pairings and my first impressions:

Jean or Guiseppe/Jose x Hillshire: OK..... that sure makes a lot of sense.....

Triela x Claes: I'm not sure Triela would be that open to "experimentation".....

Henrietta x Rico: Can you say "out of character?"

Henrietta x Guiseppe/Jose: Does Jose look anything like this guy: to you?

Jean x Rico: Makes about as much sense as Jean falling in love with his sidearm. Also, again, Jean is not this guy

Triela x Pino: Because we all know the first thing Triela does to someone she wants dead is have sex with them!

The Melancholy of Claes was actually Hillshire x Triela and Hillshire x Claes.

Sisters At Play was Rico x Henrietta and Rico x Triela.

Teppucin 2 had a story titled "Henrietta-tan: Hah, Hah" that was a Henrietta x Jose and Henrietta x Padania Terrorist (she shot him, had sex with him, and then killed him).

And then there are plenty of Jose x Henrietta / Rico x Jean / Hilshire x Triela doujin.

so, no one has used my Priscilla x Petrushka idea yet, then? :dance:

I'm sure some fanfic author somewhere has written a Jean x Rico fic, but as for Aida, I never saw Jean show any affection towards Rico in the canon, and for that matter, Rico never seemed attracted to Jean in the way Henrietta and Triela are to their handlers. He treats the way he treats his pistol, as a weapon, rather than a human being. In fact, Jean probably treats his pistol BETTER than he treats Rico (Okay that has little to do with the topic at hand, but bringing up Rico and pistols, I just had to put that in there.)

There are some RicoXJean, HenriettaXJose, TrielaXHillshire, AngieXMarco and (looks like) CleasX(a young)Rabello doujins out there, and some of it looks like his art style.

Furthermore, there is some pre-2001 Gunslinger Girl books that shows his older art, and this art style matches the doujins in question. Then there is BitterSweet Fools, which pretty much stands by itself. In the older stuff (Not the doujins), Jean treats Rico a little better though in BitterSweet Fools the pair that loks like Claes and a young Rabello- Rabello treats Claes like a tool.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Rico wouldn't give a damn if Jean had a love interest or died. Well, possibly the latter, if only because it'll mean that the Agency might have to put her down.

well, for the love interest, I agree... but if Jean died... she'd probably have a similar feeling to when Angelica died (odd numbness)... but she'd never work the same way again.

I wonder is 'Etta was just feeling a little "desperate" at the moment or whether she just wanted to thoroughly humiliate him before she killed him (You're gonna die, but first your gonna get raped by a girl a quarter your age!).

It's on the net.

Henrietta first had sex with Jose, then went on a mission. The terrorist she shot reminded her of Jose, so she had sex with him and then finished him off.

As someone who's written his share of gratuitous Star Trek femslash I should add my two cents here.

Slash fiction tends to evolve from any two people in the same multiverse as each other...err, I mean any two canon characters who have either a bonding or adversarial relationship (to comprehend the latter, see the Foe Yay or
Belligerent Sexual Tension entries in TV Tropes.

Well they're both rather guilt-ridden about what the Agency is making them do (Hurt/Comfort) and Jose must be so desperate by now that he'll shag anyone as he can't get near a woman without Henrietta going sulky, but a homosexual relationship might well slip under her radar. Probably not Triela's though.

Claes, on the other hand, is bound to have 'hidden depths'. Even this Hilshire/Triela story hints at some informal yuri between them.

Triela x Pino: Because we all know the first thing Triela does to someone she wants dead is have sex with them!

As for Triela/Pino, this story probably has the best take, keeping things at a subtext level.

As the two killer cutesters actually meaning this...



And in fact this story on FF.net is exactly how I'd view any sexual relationship between these two.

Maybe after Triela found out Hillshire had a girlfriend, she decided Claes was better then nothing.
