Well, she baked me one but also made this delicious piece:

Raspberry (red layer) and maracujya (yellowish layer), extremly delicious!
Politely as usually she came this afternoon and brought it, dropped a curtsy and left after hugging me.

Thanks for the greetings and wishings, Voodoo. Honestly, meanwhile in germany the day is over, but it was a wonderfull day except the long waiting-time at the admission office but the stress was totally worth it:

Thanks for all the wishes, guys, even if it's meanwhile 8:47am of the 2nd August over here.
But it doesn't matter as long as somebody notice i have birthday.

Voodoo, here we normally greet the birthday-person on the birthday, but if you do it belated it's okay as well we usually say then: "Herzlichen Glückwunsch nachträglich." and everything is fine.

Well, i'm happy with my birthday present, the VW Golf 2 CL (1987, hey two years older than me) even if i have to replace disc brake pads and perhaps have to take care of the clutch as well but when it's done, it's a nice and reliable car. Good old carb-fired engine, extremly repair-friendly.
Hey it even was equiped with a katalysator so it costs less tax, and next years i come into another insurance class and have to pay less for insurance.

The GTI's are fast, my is a CL with just 1,6l and 72hp.
Vmax what the papers say 169km/h but it doesn't matter, i follow the speed limits.
Don't want a Mail by the cops... too expensive to pay...

At 16 you are allowed to drink beer and soft alcoholic drinks like alco-pops (beer and juice mixtures) with around 5% alcohol, but not "hard alcohol".
With 18 you can do and drink everything, like Vodka, Tequilla and such.

I see. I see. In Australia I think at fifteen or sixteen you're allowed to drink on a private property, but have to wait till 18 to drink anywhere else.
