Greetings from the Philippines

Hi, I'm Richard from the Philippines. I've watched both season 1 and 2 of gunslinger girl. I've read the manga (thanks to the scanlators. You won't find this manga in the Philippines). The Philippines, like italy has a muslim seperatist movement, terrorists and (believe it or not) an ongoing communist insurgency. Furthermore, the Philippines is a majority Roman Catholic country with lots of latino influence. For these reasons, I sympathize with the Italian setting which I find adequately portrayed. Yes, I also find the girls cute. I can identify with Rico the most (I understand what its like to have a useless body then suddenly it gets better). The end. PS. I can't help with the scanlations nor have time to write fanfic. I can draw a little, but its in the Filipino comics style. Maybe I'll upload some someday.

I have a best friend who's Filipino and she's going to be there all summer, so I understand where you're coming from. I do however want to go there someday with my friend. While there are difficulties there (as there are in many places in the world) It looks like a beautiful place!
