Greetings from Russia
Hello everyone at Cyborg Central!
I'm Cryingvoid, I'm GSG fan from Russia and I've finally managed to get registered here!
First I met GSG series was about 3 years ago when I watched the 1st TV season.
Nowadays, a few weeks ago I decided to watch the 2nd season just out of boredom, because first season didn't take me out much.
To my astonishment, I found out the second season much more breathtaking than the first was. Despite worse graphics and action moments, it had much more life and feeling in it, the atmosphere was way different and the music was just outstanding. So it arouse great interest in me to the whole story, I took up reading manga as well as became it's fan
I'd like to thank all the awesome guys who took up scanlating GSG manga after all the rest had abandoned it:
Great thanks to Kodokuryu - for translating the series, and Tommygunner - for scanlating it (hope I'm not mistaken)
This monthly manga has way better drawing work done in comparison with weekly neverendings', so it is sad that it gets less attention though it's quality is obviously better.
Hope here I would be eventually able to get fresh info on the upcoming chapters and have some fun with the series' fans
Minna! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
Nice to meet you, everyone!
PS: as for my Gunslinger girl top - first place goes to Triela (guess it is not original, but pretty natural choice); Second - is Rico, and my third preferance goes to Beatrice (Beachi is a very nice girl for her constantly serious expression

Re: Greetings from Russia
Welcome to the forum! I apologize for never responding to your email - I was busy working on a GSG chapter I forgot about it. The forum was locked for registering due to a noob being a jerk and issues with bots trying to join. Plus a lot of the noobs having been active. You should be able to find stuff about the forum and our scanlations in the Info section. Have fun here!
Thanks. Tommy did scanlate the series for a long time, but has more recently given up the job to other men.Cryingvoid wrote:Great thanks to Kodokuryu - for translating the series, and Tommygunner - for scanlating it (hope I'm not mistaken)

Yeah, the most stylish guy out of 'X', I guess...Though he was, he was my fave ^0^
PS: his story started in some other CLAMP manga, I believe... about his yaoi past with Subaru... though the whole story behind them is pretty interesting, how Subaru never took off his gloves and so on.

I know...I think I only started reading X (besides the fact that CLAMP is awesome)because I wanted to know what would happen after Tokyo Babylon (it wasn´t really Yaoi, was it? oh...well......it kinda was....) ^_^;;;Cryingvoid wrote:Yeah, the most stylish guy out of 'X', I guess...Though he was, he was my fave ^0^

I recollect, X manga was kinda incomplete, wasn't it? ^_^'I know...I think I only started reading X (besides the fact that CLAMP is awesome)because I wanted to know what would happen after Tokyo Babylon (it wasn´t really Yaoi, was it? oh...well......it kinda was....) ^_^;;;
Well, hope you'll have pleasure reading. As for me, I've only seen X anime, and didn't find it much interesting. Probably manga is way different (at least, story of 'Tokyo Babylon' points on that).

Yeah there are only 18 volumes out.....I don´t think CLAMP will be ending it in near future(well as long as they finish Tsubasa...)I haven´t seen the anime (besides episode 16 )so I can´t say really much about that...Cryingvoid wrote:I recollect, X manga was kinda incomplete, wasn't it? ^_^'

Для России!!!!
(Heh, that was about the extent of Russian I know )
Welcome Cryingvoid,
Yeah, I used to do the scanlations but Kodoku is running the show.
I gave up after too many thankless bastards came around, and made the job seem no longer worth it for me.
Anyways, hope you have a blast around here.
Oh, and don't forget the Vodka

Oh, and don't forget the Vodka
Though I am a russian who doesn't drink at all (!)
There are too many drunkards here (in Russia) and their sight doesn't inspire me
I'd say, drunkenness is the main problem of our (russian) society .
