Hi, I'm joining this forum from the U.S. I've watched the first season of the anime and I just started the second season. Personally I think that the quality of the anime dropped significantly from the first season to the second season. And then on AniDB I found out that there was a manga version of this and that it is a whole lot better. And so, here I am! I have yet to start the manga series, and I'm looking forward to it greatly. Hopefully I'll be granted access to the releases by the time I catch up!

I didn't happen to find any rules posted anywhere on this forum, so hopefully I won't break any unknowingly.

Yes, season two is a bit closer to the manga then season one because Yu Aida wrote the screenplays. And yes, the animation quality and character designs, IMO, are terrible.

Reference for what, and have the DVD's for Il Teatrino been released yet?

Many of the people on this forum have a fan-fict posted or in the works, and the manga provides much of the material, though it never hurts to reference to the anime.

I don't think the english version has been released yet. I'm sure Funimation would have it posted in fifty-foot letters on their site and office roof if it were.

Reference for fan fiction and discussions. And Funimation will release the DVDs as a single box set in August of this year.

The rules are pretty much just don't be a jerk. Other than that we don't really have anything specific.

As for Funi's release, I hate those 13 episodes on two disks sets. It'll be a terribly sad day when I get that set and cry over it. I mean, have they really become that cheap that they just cut out the third disk that made everything fit so nicely?

Anywho, rant over. I actually got used to Il Teatrino myself. Sure, it's no season one, but it's respectable in it's own right.

For reading the manga, I suggest getting a nice comfy chair and setting aside plenty of time, as once you start, you won't want to stop.
