Of plans for 4th of July 2009

I'll be in Texas this 4th of July Weekend for many reasons.

1) Classic fireworks that are made of awesome based on the sole ground that they can kill you.

2) Really good and REALLY greasy(not to mention spicy) food.

3)And of course the coup d' grace, I'll be attending HERE.

That's right I'm going to Irving, Texas for the summer because you only get one chance to be first AND because I want to compete in the Iron-Man of Gaming competition.

Damn, I really need to get an XBOX 360...FUCK!!

I'll be celebrating that in less then 24 hours there will be a new episode of Top Gear Series 13 to watch.

I will probably be recovering from the 1st of July.

I love July 4th. It's a nice American Holiday. And since I'm from Brooklyn, I always watch the history channel special on the Batlle of Brooklyn.
I normally just have some guests over and we cook BBQ stuff. I love cooking but not on the BBQ. That's my Mothers Domain.

Sometimes my mom likes to go to the shore and watch the Macy's Fireworks. I try going sometimes but the sound of fireworks scares me.

I'll probably go watch the fireworks in the Colombia Gorge with some college kids again.

...unfortunately, the place doesn't allow alcohol... fortunately, I'm good at making spiked juice drinks for myself and putting 'em in inconspicuous bottles.

They fire them off at the Amphitheater? Or at the dam?

nothing that far east or north... Rooster Rock State Park. The 218th Field Artillery does a little show every year.

My mom's going to be getting certified to teach all through July, so I'll either be home alone or with friends for the daytime.

(Stupid burn ban... -.- We never get to have fireworks around here...)

Yeah we have bans on fireworks, but folks smuggle in the good stuff from the Indian Reservations. The biggest problem is being so far North, it does not really get dark until well after 22:00.

I like teyhas guns are more legal and you can have them on you

same with Oregon and Washington... I'm almost always armed...

No reservations near here that I know of... Not in this part of Texas. Grr.

A couple of years ago, though, we visited family in Nebraska and came home with a trunk full of Tasmanian Devils and other cheap fireworks like that. Best 4th of July EVAR.

Twisted Rose, no joke. Try buying them online. Thats what we do. They are very illegal here in Brooklyn but no one really cares. There's a guy who sells them in his Deli too. No one cares as much as we think they do. On top of that, are there any public firework shows you can go to?

Meh, a few. But they're pretty mediocre. And I like setting off little ones. Tank wars are the best!

Maybe I'll look into that this year...
