Personality tests
Personality tests
anyway, I got a chuckle or two out of the results... so I looked for our old spam topic on this subject (though it started off specifically about our OCs and what each of their MBTIs would be).
Lo and behold, the topic has been deleted at some point.
So here's the test I took recently... admittedly it's rather biased by the creator's opinions... but at least he/she has a sense of humor. and here are the results that made me chuckle (with my first mental responses in red afterwards... spoiler tagged 'cause it turned out kinda long):
- Spoiler:
- Low Romantic - not very romantic, eh? for you! Researchers have found that romantic love can act like a powerful narcotic on the brain. That can't be all bad.
I knew it! You 'love' people are just pushers! I don't need any of your damn happy pills!
Low Histrionic - you are not an attention whore. That's very unamerican of you.
Huh... I always thought it was inhuman of me... That's probably just my Isolationist, American upbringing talking, though.
Accountability - you admit when you're wrong / at fault. This is admirable unless you're just a masochist.
Hey... I have an admir... fuck. Disqualified.
Adventurousness - you like excitement and at least a little danger, if not a lot. Stunt-person, Adventure travel guide, Soldier of Fortune might be for you.
I could make so much more money as a mercenary...
Low Dependency - You're very independent. But did you build the computer you're working on right now?
Yes I did. See what you get for assuming?
Low Religious - you are not religious. Consider moving to Europe if you don't already live there.
Now that is ironic. One of the reasons I got tired of Europe was the incredibly strong Catholic influence.
Humanitarian - you want to make the world a better place. I hope to hell you recycle.
One kill at a time... still working on putting together the stuff to reload my own brass, though.
Low Honor - you tend not to keep your word. Don't you think that's something to change?
Uh... *crosses fingers* ...yes?
Extravagance - you value the finer things in life. You might consider the possibility that you are compensating in an unhealthy way for a low sense of self worth and being inconsiderate to those in the world that struggle.
...I'm American. Many stereotypes are based upon truth. 'Specially this one.
Low Family drive - you are against or not particularly driven to have a family. No big deal, the third world will have enough kids for everyone.
Damn right. And then our international corporations can hire 'em all for pennies a day! ...am I enabling bad habits here?
If you want a more serious breakdown, though, here's the test for MBTI.
...incidentally, I end up tied for INTJ and ISTJ
and for the myriad other tests available on that site (the SLOAN test is pretty accurate, too... but I haven't taken it in awhile. It has different focuses in its answers from the MBTI test... handy to have another perspective)... here.
Additionally, here's a little test about general political matters. I've found it to be about the only unbiased one available.

Re: Personality tests
also, I just do this out of curiosity (thankfully, I'm not a cat). 'tis a free internet, so no pressure, but I am curious to see some other people's results.

Also my political leanings simplified into a two dimensional graph. A little simplistic perhaps, but It's nice to know I score in the area of Gandhi, Dr Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, and the Dalai Lama.
all these tests are going to leave me neurotic... if I'm not already...

Comments : To those who don't know me, I've been a Cyborg Central member since 2008 and used to assist in scanlating chapters for the Gunslinger Girl manga when it was still being published in Japan. Now, I just tend to drift around in here now and then depending on whatever random impulse implores me to float back in here. Maybe I'll stick around, maybe I won't. Depends on what real life and the Internet implore me to do.
