Love Rico!

Emilio, somehow immortal, is currenly unemployed after surving Rico's 'I'm sorry' thing. The poor guy needs a job after getting fired from the hotel. After jobhunting around town unsuccessfully, he succesfully lands one at the SWA thanks in no part to an idiot clerk and no small amount of (bad) luck. He's supposed to be a live in person who cares of a maintainece, cleaning and upkeep for a children's dormitory; i.e. karinin-san.

One day in his new workplace he somehow (a) enrages most the cybernetically enhanced girls living there, (b) make them accuse him of being a pervert, and finally (c) get shot by Rico (in the butt) again. Despite these minor setbacks, Emilio is a good kid. Resolving to make the most of a bad situation, the young ex-bellboy soldiers on, detemined to be the best dorm manager that has ever walked the earth and win the heart of his fair maiden. Hopefully he'll survive against the fury an entire dorm full of enraged guntoting adolecent females to do just that.

Love Hina situation with Emilio in it. What do you people think?

Honestly, I prefer Emilio to be every bit the girls' equal, i.e. a cyborg. Like what I did in Battlezone. I'm tired of wimpy male leads. Plus, the whole Love Hina setup gets old.

I pictured Emilio in this case to be the Hayate Ayasaki kind of character. No matter how many times they shoot him, run him over with Hillshire's van, bury him in Claes garden, etc... the man will ways get back to his feet and do their laundry with a smile on his face.

Kind of like a male Rico; It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!

I actually had the idea of Emilio surviving, in critical condition, and being selected by the Mafia to field test stolen cybernetic technologies. Emilio would have to endure his first murder, and the fact that he's killing innocent people. He would have to live with being a slave, and an addiction deliberately induced to keep him under control. He would certainly end up hating himself, though he would meet up with Rico at the end. I even have a place for Aurora in the story.

I think seeing how a sweet kid like Emilio becomes a guilty, melancholy and traumatized individual would make for interesting, if supremely dark, reading.

I got this idea from reading two stories. The first was a Gusnlinger Girl fanfic that brought Emilio back as a denizen of Sin City. Good writing, but that guy had nothing in common character-wise with canon Emilio. The second story was a Teen Titans one-shot that showed a world-wearied Starfire who'd lost her friends and was trying to survive on an earth that had been overrun with powerful aliens.

I also think a 'what-if' of Rico and Emilio meeting eachother again would make an interesting story in it's own right. They certainly have alot to talk about, and it would be filled with drama.

Rico and Emilio requited?

Nah, I think the relevant chapter pretty much explains itself, if you read it carefully. Grateful for the plug, man, along with your tolerance for my feedback.

That being said, I find J's idea eminently intriguing, despite having something in common with Pino's backstory. It could definitely make for an excellent fic.

Well, it is a humor fic, so I would think that realism isn't at the top of the list.

...then there's the case of a 'stalker'-thing and the male suddenly finds their underwear missing and eventually, after a series of investigation, they find it in Emilio's room (I'm not saying Meir is gay--say an alternate history where Meir never came to be but Emilio did came to be an operative as the first male cyborg. Yep, things went wrong indeed...)

Damn, and if the males were rejecting him completely then he'll go BzK like Henrietta about Jose...

...or if he has a male handler, then that Handler wouldn't last working with him for long...

Wasn't the fanon convention supposed to that of pairing male cyborgs with female handlers?
