Franco's Lack of Action

When Franco and Franca were driving off with Cristiano, after Franca passed Angelica and got wounded in the process, why didn't Franco physically take the wheel from Franca after she lost control? It makes more sense than giving his badly wounded comrade motivational speeches there while the car is careening out of control near the edge of a cliff.

Perhaps he was wounded, too.

That's possible, though I don't remember him bleeding in that scene. It would explain why he didn't shoot back at Angelica.

It's the only logical explanation, really. A lot of his body was off-panel/off-screen during that sequence - there's no telling what injuries of his we couldn't see.

For all we know, Franco Survived while Franca popped her klogs, Leaving a angered Franco behind, Hungry for revenge for the one woman who gave him a purpose to live again.

As far as I know Yu Aida from his work, You never can tell with him...

It'd be a bit hackneyed, but yeah - you can never tell with Yu...

Franco alive would be very stupid if Yu would try that route.

i think that's it, he was trying to keep her awake and all. "i got no reason to live if u don't live". didn't anyone notice that Franca was hit on the head by Angie, shouldn't she have died instantly?

Bullet just grazed her skull. Didn't penetrate. It was the loss of blood from the body wounds that did her in.

that, or the fall into the water. pretty even chance that she actually died from drowning. a submerged car isn't an easy thing to escape, especially when wounded.

Dear me - forgot the drowning/rough landing bit. Drowning shoulda been obvious, and a rough landing on water can inflict awful injuries.

Well, I can tell you that they'd be knocked out just from the impact.
I mean water very dense, and though the car would hit nose first, they are just ragdolls and would knock there heads at the first thing infront of them.

So if the bullets didn't Kill.
Then if the injury from the initial impact didn't finish the the job, good old water filling Lungs would.

It's your alerting me to the fact, plus my recently-remembered medical knowledge (concentrating on what remedies high blood pressure at present for my stupid research paper doesn't help any), that sold things for me, Tommy.

IMHO, Franco didn't anything because he didn't have a time. In anime that was very slow (as Pinochio and Christiano scene), but in manga it takes two or three pictures. They ran away, they speed was very high.
But, SWA didn't found bodies... What was that? When Petra and Claes took two terrorists on the boat, firstly i think that was Franco and Franca. May Yu Aida return them?

The only way bringing Franco and Franca back could work, in my opinion, would be a very, very brief future appearance that shows them having turned their backs on terrorism, adopting false identities and leading normal lives. This would explain the 'no corpses' bit, and solve the problem of bringing them back without taking away from the emotional impact of their last ride.

Alternatively, 'no corpses' may just mean that the bodies got swept away somewhere. People who fall into rivers and drown have their bodies go missing for all kinds of reasons.

Yep, even fishies gotta eat.

I think we can rule the fishies out in this case - the SWA reported the absence of bodies after an immediate search, and there's no way in hell they could've eaten the bodies that fast.

Unless someone's pet piranhas escaped into the river, or something. But even then, they'd have found bones.
