A farewell to a good man Empty A farewell to a good man

Yesterday, October 1st, author Tom Clancy died, at the age of 66, in a Baltimore hospital.

This man wrote many military thrillers, such as Patriot Games, The Hunt for Red October, which later spawned movies and even games, like the Rainbow Six series. He was also someone for whom I based my writing off of. No, I don't match his style directly, but he was the framework for which I latched onto. He meant a lot to me, and many, many others. That's all that counts.

So, here's to you sir. I hope you find yourself somewhere nice. You deserve it.

MCPO Lewis, signing off.

I liked a great many of his books, but my favorite was 'Without Remorse'. No gee-whiz tech, very little military jargon, just solid storytelling and riveting characterization.

Comments : .
Mario Bossi would make a better handler than Marco Toni. Come to think of it, so would Christiano.
.
Elizaveta didn't jump - she was pushed.
.
Sofia was pregnant. It would have been a boy.
.
John Doe faked his own death - twice.
.
Enrica taught Jose everything he knows about the night sky.
