all of the elements of a cyborg Empty all of the elements of a cyborg

Post by restonme Mon 9 Sep 2013 - 1:37

I've been looking up on the forum and on various search engines to find details about possible components and technological advancements that could lead us closer to a real life cyborg. and I've found a lot of things that could be combined together to make a cyborg arm and even improve the sight of the subjects to allow them to see better at further distances. so far I've found out about the use of a carbon fiber bone to replace a broken one in Lance Armstrong. I also found out about bionic devises to help some blind people see proving that electric components can be added to the eye directly to improve vision. I think that now that most of the part are here, we should combine what we do have to create a cyborg.

You'll need to find someone sufficiently smashed-up to warrant most of their body parts being replaced. Also, I think it remains to be seen what the post-op lifespan of someone receiving such profound bodily modification would be. The subjects you've mentioned are doing fine on account of them receiving relatively minor modification.

I meant like theoretically like just "putting it together" on the forum by finding pieces to work with and adding them to a model or a diagram for arms , legs, etc. and then finding ways to improve upon the previous design or looking for flaws to fix.

Mario Bossi would make a better handler than Marco Toni. Come to think of it, so would Christiano.
