Miscellania
As I say, miscellaneous stuff that I doodle up and hope looks good. Don't really try to hard, but they tend to look passable.
Stuff below.

Re: Miscellania
The idea of the cyborgs in Aviators came up in Alfisti's clothing thread. This ended up with me taking some inspiration from Reservoir Dogs, The Matrix, MIB, and various other people-in-black-suits media to make this. The logo in the top left is my own, made for the SWA.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the work!
In other news, I figured I should toss up the logo in here for good measure:

Thanks! If I may ask, are you referring to the logo or to Henrietta in Aviators?

Yeah. I'd lost your list of recommendations, but the fQ cover with Caterina featured them and I knew that they'd be excellent by virtue of that. Additionally, the Ultrasones give more freedom for styling, whereas Harman-Kardon is almost like Apple in the way they make something packaged together brilliantly as a design but make it impossible for you to modify.
Could I ask for some help on the shading? I figure that Caterina's clothing isn't shaded quite right, but I can't figure out what's wrong with it. Part of it might be that I went "fuck backgrounds" and there's no context, but....

Re: Miscellania
I think the major issue with the shading is that your light-source seems to be inconsistent. Some of the shadows look like they would for her to be lit from straight on whilst the ground shadow and others look like she's lit from above. Notably, lighting front on tends to look odd and will flatten an image: you see it used in fashion photography, usually for more artistic or avant garde shoots.
I'd reccomend try moving the light source to a top front quarter (left or right) to get some consistent, volume-enhancing shading down. When I'm rendering I'll often draw in a little direction locus to show where my light is coming from.

Ah. Shit. I've been told that before but keep not noticing until AFTER it's pointed out. Could it be that I'm used to watching people move in environments where there are multiple different light sources simultaneously occurring? Either way, the direction locus is good advice, thanks! I used one to focus Caterina's face when I was drawing that bit, and it worked pretty well.

Re: Miscellania
Caterina in battle dress. Slight improvements over the last one, primarily in shading consistency and line refinement. Additionally, I may have made some slight progress in proportioning bodies, but the jury is still out on that.
