I don't think this topic is necessary. If new people want to post things about their new OCs they'll make their own topic. If a topic is old, they'll just resurrect it and make a new post. I've done that with my OC art a lot.

We've never had any problem with new members navigating the site before. Sometimes they put a few things in the wrong place, but the OC stuff is clearly marked. We have also established that a lot of the new members aren't posting that much because of school. Same with me, I'm not posting that much because of finals. It has nothing to do with confidence.
I agree with Kisk and think it should be a topic for your OC.
