Man, so many different things going on at once (V-day, Chinese New Year, AND the Winter Olympics) ...er, that's a lot of themes to cover, but I went with the last one:

Throwing some new pages up (I'm really sorry it's taken this long; it's entirely my fault for constantly second-guessing my own work;; )

Conventions (so far) have been great, thanks. ;P At the very least these cons are a nice decisive way to work within deadlines. (not like you can ask several thousand ppl to postpone the con just so YOU to get your stuff done...) XD

Alas, no Anime Expo for me as this weekend I'm boarding a 787 at Sea-Tac to head out to Haneda Tokyo to tool around the various airports in Japan and make sure she fits.

reminds me of a flight back to the uk i was on once,the pilot slightly overshot the gangway,we ended up walking across planks !

You guys use "Virtual Wrench" software to see if a mechanic's hand & tool can fit into a space before it's even constructed but there's no large scale version for airports? On the other hand there's always factors a CGI model can't anticipate I guess.

It's really for things like fit checks with maintenance stands and jacks within the hangar, ground servicing operations, refueling and maintenance activities. We'll also simulate operations between initial city pairs that ANA will fly the airplane on like Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiroshima.

My other choice was to be aboard the second production airplane doing ETOPS and Functionality & Reliability testing - effectively flying around in circles for 10 hours at a time.
