Sort of of me, couple of shots from one of the blokes at the Lotus Club, Lakeside DTC timed laps on Sunday.





So, I was damn near the slowest car there: but knocking off an Elise and a motorkhana prepped Suzuki Swift in a ropey old Alfa I can live with...

...and it was way more fun than the BMW last time. Very much looking forward to getting the engine rebuilt and run in now to see what it can do with a few of the factory-installed 128 horses captured and returned.

So I figured I'd toss some pics of my Honduras Mission's Trip up for the heck of it.

Today I joined the cheerleading team for district football tournament  . it is a mini football tournament with four teams participating - Although only have  small award but everyone have a good time and we won second prize

Sorry Taerkitty, that was supposed to be a funny comment, instead it turned out just corny. 

My old man's retirement gift was a powered glider flight (well, an "experience" voucher... this is what he chose). Looked like fun, so I paid for a second one and joined him:


Very enjoyable experience, glad I went, kind of made me want to get back to earning my pilots' license... but, to be honest, not enough to divert the money from other things.

I flew a plane before I ever drove a car - my mom got me an hour of flight time for my 14th birthday, lo these many moons ago.

After that, I started working for the instructor, washing planes. In exchange, he'd take me up every now and then. I miss that time very much...
