Anybody have an opinion on these? I'm considering adding a few of these to the I-CARE inventory in addition to the HK XM-8. I'm worried they may be over hyped, but from what I've seen so for a good burst from one of these should make mincemeat of a cyborg, and as such should be something a cyborg hunting agency should carry in it's inventory.

The only opinion that immediately comes to mind is that those things are too bulky for my taste. If I-CARE conducts lots of covert work like its predecessor used to, this bulkiness might pose problems in the field.

Well, the XM-80 is the Standard Issue Weapon for I-CARE non cyborg personnel. I'm considering this for emergencies where secrecy is either a non-issue of the situation has just gotten that bad secrecy is the least of the agency's worries. Consdering some of the crap I've planned to drop St-1 into, firepower may become a nesessity.

Cosnider; a standard 5.56 NATO rifle round has would have difficulty bringing down a cyborg in the I-CARE verse. Having one of these in the back of the survalience van, if only just to reassure the agents that they have such a thing, might not be such a bad idea. Still, I-CARE's arms developmee from HK, so having these 'might' cheese their HK eployees off a little...

One more question. Would TRIELA like these? I mean, she walks in one day and sees a few of AA-12s lying about. How would she react to seeing a fully automatic shotgun?

Well you could always go with the HK CAWS system. It never went into production, but that doesn't mean HK couldn't have rolled a few (hundred) off for them as a side project...

Of all the non-traditional shotgun models, I prefer the Russian Saiga, but that is only semi-auto, not select fire.

Just read an article on it. Sounds like the the thing a cyborg hunter needs, and the kind of thing a covert black ops orginisation would use. A 3 round burst mode should be pretty handy when taking out enemy cyborgs.
