As a life-long army-brat, I've always been a fan of marching bands. But frankly, I'm a little dissappointed in all of you. What kind of inspirational martial music production is without its pipes section? There is nothing more inspiring or moving than the sound of the massed pipes and drums.

Well, Marisa is Irish, so the pipes are in her blood. And there's always the psychological aspect to be considered. Bagpipes were originally used not only to inspire your own troops, but to instill fear in your enemies. So you could always send her north to "serenade" the Padanias.
Another option for avoiding the...hassle Marisa's cybernetically enhanced lung capacity could pose, you could always start her out on the Uilleann pipes, which don't require the use of blowing into them. With her Irish heritage, it would be more fitting anyway.

I would eventually like to work the Uilleann pipes into my story but at this point Mari still has no idea she was Irish. If asked about her nationality she will state with absolute conviction "I am Italian."
