H1N1 or Swine Flu epidemy

I do not know how this got here, but I believe those who return from Mexico got it.

Yesterday...just yesterday, I got word that my country caught the H1N1 epidemy

Most of the world has it now thanks to air travel, but it doesn't appear to be all that serious (people who are dying from it appear to have other serious health issues present before they contract the virus).

So no, I wouldn't panic. It's just going to be a new strain of the flu.

I was just in hong kong last week and no one seems to be at a panic there, and the philippines had a hanfull of threats this month as well, just so long as you stay away from places that obviously have an infectious disease going on you should be safe. obviously stay away from life swine though...

well, isn't surgical masks fashionable in japan, put a N95 on and you should be fine... if you can stand the smell of your own breath that is...

I've smelled worse things then my own breath TBO, heck I used to be a helper at a cow farm.

The percentage of fatalities to contractions is still very low. You only have to worry if you live in sub-standard conditions and have sub-standard health-care availiable. I've seen more concerning epidemics in Sci-Fi originals.

I got Streptococcus...;_; I would buy the medicine for the swine flu now...I think...So if it really get to be a pandemia you will definitely have enough medicine...

Hehehe....I went downstair moments ago and checked if I have enough supplies of cold medicines and stuff.

I even brought out my gas mask I use for airsoft games; just in case!

To me its just another form of the flu, nothing worth worrying about. When Ebola becomes an airborne pathogen, thats when you get scared.

The regular flu has killed way more people this year than swine flu. I'm not worried, bring it on flu!

You have a higher chance of being struck by lightning than contracting swine flu. So that means if you haven't been struck by lightning you won't get it. Seriously though, it's not really any worse than the usual flu (weakened people die from the regular version too you know). If you're not the type to get sick easily, you should be fine. Just avoid getting too close to coughing people.

I got my 1st case of Swine flu here in my country, according to news, the patient is fine... but also according to news, she took a trip in a couple of malls before reailizing she's got the bug... one word, O Sh*t :lol!:

well, if you have enough time, park, river and mountain is the best, but if you only have 1-2 hour and want to fully exercise your body, gym would be a neat choice.

Parkour is one of the funnest and easiest ways to keep in shape. Best yet you can do it anywhere. Personally, I like to find a big enough park with rocks, benches, play areas, etc.; and basically run over and under everything.

my university has a parkour club... the only thing it ever contributes is adding articles in the newspaper that says "parkour member falls on nursing student, nursing student in the hospital" or add signes on certain areas that say "danger: parkour practioners can fall on you here" :lol!:

guess they need to get better at it

problem is, more experience people start jumping the city, beginners start in the university, so it will be "raining men" forever pretty much
