Manga/Anime
Hi!
Not sure this belongs here, but I haven't really found an answer with the Forum search.
Is there a difference between the Anime and the Manga?
( I just read the 1st one and it's more or less the same as the anime)
Is it worth to read the Manga if you saw the Anime?
If this question was already answered, please send me a reference

Re: Manga/Anime
I believe that if you've watched Season One of the anime, you can skip Volume One and Volume Two of the manga. Anything after Volume Two, though, you MUST read.

Puh, that sounds better, the first one is a word and picture to picture translation of the anime(I think actually vice versa^^)

Yes. Both anime series draw from the manga, with -Il Teatrino- more closely following because Yu Aida wrote the screenplays. The original series also has a few episodes with new stories not seen in the manga.

In my opinion, it is.

You can without missing anything, yes, but nevertheless, I'd say you should anyway

Re: Manga/Anime
I prefer the manga, personally, as you sometimes see details that the anime does not address, like the deeper reasonings behind the SWA. Also, the manga is further along, at least in the japanese. The english (ADV) translations only go through Il Teatrino and introduce Petrushka and Sandro. The online (unofficial) translations cover the rest.

Re: Manga/Anime
It’s wonderful to have both, but if I were forced to chose one or the other, I would have to go with the manga.

That's odd -- I don't remember seeing Al Gore or Gore Vidal in the manga. Must have been a different gore....

Re: Manga/Anime
While the manga is generally better, there are some parts of the anime(s) that are good because they can include audio/&c.
The ending of the first season is very moving, and the entire "Scarbourough Fair" episode of the second season are absolutely worth watching.
