Note: Ryan wants me to relay this story, since he is passed out on my bed at the moment.

At about 10 this morning, Ryan gets a call from his friend that you all know as "G". She invites him to a housewarming/barbecue at her new house for the afternoon. She also asks him to bring his bass, since apparently her boyfriend plays the guitar, and somebody else is playing the drums.

Ryan wholeheartedly agrees (Who'd have guessed, right?), and brings me along. I'm a bit reluctant at first, but then I decide to go because I want to get to know Ryan's friends more.

So we arrive, and everyone is having a grand time, especially Ryan,who is immediately attracted to the free booze. During this time, I start talking with G (but that's a different story), while Ryan sets up his equipment.

About an hour later, G's boyfriend makes an announcement that they are ready to start playing. I think in my head, "God damn, this is going to be a disaster." because they've never played together before.

Now, keep in mind that Ryan had NOTHING to eat beforehand, he smoked a joint with me earlier, he's had about 10 beers in less than an hour... and it's only 12 in the afternoon. So he's absolutely plastered, and everyone can tell.

Ryan grabs the nearest mic and says, "This one goes out to god! The biggest fucking asshole in the whole motherfucking universe! Don't get in our fucking way! And Fuck you, Jesus! You owe me twenty bucks!", and plays a quick bassline.

At this point, G's boyfriend and his friend, Eric, as well as everyone in the whole damn neighborhood just blankly stares at Ryan... all in silence. Ryan just laughs it off and begins, "One for the money! Two for the Show! Three to get a handjob! And four for a blow! Let's go!" and starts playing a reggae bassline (think Sublime, if you know the band).

The other two band members have no idea what he's playing, but decide to go along with it, freestyle. And it actually sounds quite nice. The entire crowd that formed is actually digging the music. But, about 3 or so minutes into the song, Ryan gets a little adventurous, I suppose, and turns around and says to the other two, while still on the mic, "Hey guys, you know that song by UB40? The one about the guy with a pistol in his hand?"

I start thinking in my head, "No don't fuck up the song!", and even though the other two say No, Ryan proceeds, "One! Two! Booooo-ya! Walking down the road! With a pistol in your hand! Johnny you're too bad! Woah oh!"

Surprisingly enough, the other two keep up.

Anyways, after about an hour of covering random songs, Ryan just suddenly stops... in the middle of a song (If I remeber correctly, it was "The Joker") and he says, "Fuck this, all you people are turnin back to ugly. I need a drink." And he jumps off the small stage, unplugs his bass from the amp, and walks over to where the drinks are, and starts pounding back beers like there was no tomorrow.

The other two guys are visibly pissed off right now, and after apologizing to the crowd (it was a pretty big party. Maybe 100 or so people) they stop and go inside to cool off. Ryan sees this, jumps back on stage, and screams into the mic, "Come back here motherfuckers! I ain't done with you!" and starts playing "Lacquer Head". At this point, several guys in the crowd climb up onstage and attempt to pull Ryan away from his bass solo, but instead, Ryan drops his bass onto the ground and gets into his boxing stance.

He yells out, "Motherfucker you want to dance!? I got a 15-2-0 record in amateur boxing, don't fucking play with me!"

After I stop laughing my ass off, I interrupt the stare down (nobody want to approach him) and I drag Ryan away and into my car, where he promptly falls asleep.

I head back into the party to retrieve Ryan's gear, and everyone comments on how awesome Ryan was.

I was in shock. I was sure that everyone would have hated him for disrupting a party like that, but everyone liked it. One guy said, "If someone doesn't pass out at a college party then it fucking sucks! Your boyfriend is the shit, girl! Not only did her drink a whole 30 pack himself, but he actually played a great bass for an hour and a half!". I asked him about the 4 or so guys that tried to stop him, and he said, "They're fucking prudes." whilst everyone cheers.

While I collect Ryan's gear, G and her boyfriend come out to help. "Hey, I'm sorry for how Ryan acted." I say to G. She says "Don't worry about it, at least he didn't break anything."

Now that is a story. I loled at the part where he said that the crowd was starting to look ugly again.

Most of the times, the best artists are the ones with bad habits. just goes to show

But I guess that Ryan will be feeling the booze in the morning.

Depends on what kind of drunk they are. Some will just go wild, like Sin here, which was friggin hilarious by the way, and others are the more "can't lie" type. It's just one of those mysteries.

Anywho, sounds like it was a fun night.
