Hi guys, I've been gone a long time and I'm not even sure why. Good news is chapter 59 will be released tomorrow. Other good news is rshackleford is joining the scanlating team as a clean up man. So that means higher quality scans for you and hopefully quicker releases. If there's anything important that I miss while I was gone, please tell me - it would take me days to catch up on all the threads. Oh yeah, And welcome to all the newbies that joined while I was away.

I've made the "Scanlator" user group. you can add people to it by clocking "Usergroups" at the top.

adding people to that group will allow them access to the hidden "Scanlator" subsection in the Archives.

Clean up man? So he just cleans the text and then hands it over to us to add the English text?

If that's the case, wouldn't it be more efficient if he did it all himself?

He's also restructuring the parts where raw text is on top of the images (not in a speech bubble).

remember the chapter where Victor became really censored and took it upon himself to do the mission solo?

Cant remember which chapter that was, but it had a fuck load of text that wasn't in a bubble but through the damn drawing. it was a hell for me to reconstruct it all. though I'd like to think that I did do a good job most of the times

It took me over an hour to do the elevator shaft. and normally I only take like an hour and a half to do a whole chapter...

I was barely halfway when I finished that shaft.

Yep, I'll be taking over all the parts where reconstructing a background is necessary. I'm a freelance graphic designer, so I do this kind of stuff for a living lol. Usually I work on photographs, but being only shades of gray, hopefully manga will be easier to reconstruct.

And where do you find jobs?

I mainly do publicity/identity work, whether it's logotypes, logos, or other printed materials. I dabble in photo-manipulation on the side as a hobby.

Since I'm still in school, most jobs come from word-of-mouth and recommendations by friends.

Yeah I still have to change that, Scanlators are light red, admins are dark red.

I still have to change it though.

My thoughts exactly, that's why I made it Green

Also that shade of green doesn't hurt the eyes so much when you try to read it.
