An overdue intro

Hi everyone. I am an avid fan of Gunslinger Girl and I have actually been browsing these forums for many months now (at least half a year to my knowledge) and have finally brought myself to register, thanks in no part to my frustration in choosing a username and general phobia of registering I suppose. I actually planned on registering 4 months ago…
In terms of my contributions to the GSG fandom, I draw GSG fan art. GSG is what inspired me to begin drawing and it also comprises most of my work. I have created more than 50 drawings of GSG fan art - the vast majority of which is of Henrietta.

I’m excited to finally be a part of the community and I can’t wait to talk and share my work with all of you.

I don’t have any blog (artistic or otherwise), I'm sorry to say. I never liked the idea of my work being thrust into the soulless, hellish abyss that is the internet (except for this corner of it of course). While I'm pretty sure this is impossible, is there any way to make sure that anything I upload will not be stolen/copied/etc.? My art may not be all that good, but I believe anything of decent quality should have some level of protection.

Also, how would I go about posting an image on a forum so that it does not appear as a link?

Anyways, as for securing your intellectual property... you can always watermark it. I hate to say it, but anything you post on the internet can be stolen.

I think, aside from watermarking as Sintendo said, the only way is to upload it to something from which you can password protect it (like photobucket) and allow only people you trust to access it. But that brings in all kinds of problems...

To post an image: 1.copy & paste that image right into the reply box
2.if you already have photobucket's account or such,you just copy the HTML link and paste in reply box,then you preview it to see if images are showning or not.

But this forum also attach Servimag.com for you to register it and can upload images.

Triela-chan: Ive played all of the games in the Ace Attorney series, Apollo Justice included. The PW trilogy was my favorite of them, but all of them are among my favorite media. Its great to meet someone with such great taste in Japanese media

Sintendo, TTIO: Sad to hear that theres not much I can do to protect my work, but it's as expected. I suppose I'll just sign my work and hope that will be enough since I dont want to bother with a watermark. My art is not all that great anyway, and most of it is comprised of drawn copies of scenes/frames from the GSG manga/anime; I'm not a very creative person

Also Sintendo, I find it funny that I recognize where your avatar is from.
