Jean's cologne

Gabrielli didn't like the smell of Jean's cologne from the first meeting. He also noted that Jean's cologne and boy's name [ Rico ] didn't match at all.

What ya think?

I'm looking at the relevant manga section right now, and there isn't anything mentioned about cologne. In any event, I doubt that Jean's the kind of guy who'd wear that stuff.

If anything he looks like a Brut man.

Interesting. Let's see if the Thai translation added this while other language translate another or don't have any at all.

The ADV translation goes:

"I can smell gunpowder on that girl...it's as bad a combination as a priest smelling of perfume."



Personally, I don't see why Jean (or Giuse or Hillshire) wouldn't wear a little cologne. Personal appearance and grooming seem important to them from their look.

Of course Jean wear's cologne.

I would think he's either Brut or Old Spice.
Fernando's is Drakkar Nior, which some men seem not to like but drive some women crazy, though they try to ignore it.

I'm more inclined to think that whatever reason Jean may have had to wear cologne died with Sophia.

Fermi says “this child smell of gunpowder, is orribile as a priest with the purfume”, says that Rico smell of gunpowder and is orribile (very much for him) like a priest who use the purfume, is strange and ugly like concept. The sense is this. But He forgets that they are cyborg not normal children, used the guns and smells of gunpowder.

My god, because girlfriend is died he does not use Cologne? Poor Rico XD (I joke)
