Re: Figuratively Speaking
Honestly, my collection, and especially what I keep on display, has shrunk significantly since I joined here. What stays out are pretty much just my favourites now:
From top to bottom:
Yuki, from the glorious Yuki 7 faux spy series.
The three senior undines from Aria.
Canti (FLCL), Triela, and Team Anglerfish.

Re: Figuratively Speaking
There are quite a few that are pretty new in my collection and the posters are a recent addition! (I actually just got a few more figures recently, so this picture is already out of date)
I got these two a few months ago and they're both on the list of my faves. <3
I'll defiantly take a picture of all my favorite figures together soon!

Cuz I'm weeb trash.
I took pics of all my favorite male figures, female figures and overall collections of characters. (I couldn't fit my Alter Sanya and Eila figures in there because of their size, but they're my faves too!!)
My Tiger and Bunny OTP! <3
These two cuties are very new to my collection, just in time for summer.

Re: Figuratively Speaking
Not technically a figure, but it turned up today, and I rather like it:
One of the best things about moving is that I have been 100% able to convince myself that this is "furniture", and therefore a justifiable expense... rather than a case of acting the goat.

Re: Figuratively Speaking
That rather looks like it belongs in the Chalet. Great find. Is it solid, or is there some storage inside?
If you can't put something on it or in it, it's not furniture, it's art.
P.S. The perspective fooled me at first glance: thought it was four feet tall.

Re: Figuratively Speaking
Well spotted. It is, in fact, exactly the same rocket as is in Jethro+Monty's Chalet (albeit there standing in to represent their adventures in Switzerland and French Guiana).Thescarredman wrote:That rather looks like it belongs in the Chalet. I've actually been wanting one of these things for awhile now (and by "awhile" I mean years), but haven't been able to justify the cost. The combination of the shop putting it on sale, and moving (and needing to fill a space on a side table), seemed like too good of an opportunity to pass up.
And no, it is 100% solid, so has no use other than to sit around looking like a rocket.
Only the particularly well educated ones...Bathduck monster wrote:I don't see why goats would have rocketry furniture.

Re: Figuratively Speaking
I haven't updated this for a while....
Completing the Holy Trinity of Is the Order a Rabbit? with Rize Tedeza:
And speaking of that show - Magical Girl Chino:
Mira Yurizaki was about the only good thing in Dimension W:
And yet more Mio Akiyama:
Considering how deep Your Lie in April affected me, of course I had to get this Kaori Miyazomo figure:
Aio Sakurai from Rail Wars:
Azusa Miura from The Idolm@aster:
Having completed my Strike Witches collection, I have been working on filling out my other favorite military anime - Girls Und Panzer:
Miho Nishizumi
Saori Take
Kinuyo Nishi

Beautiful collection, Kisk. Have to say, my personal favorite is Kaori Miyazomo. Maybe it's the violin...

I did consider that Kaori figure (loved the series), but I didn't feel like crying every time I looked at my shelf...

Just arrived today: Futaba Sakura from the video game "Persona 5".
She comes in two configurations, including this default with her jacket.
I went with the optional configuration of the figure below:

Comments : No one ever told me about GG. I just happened to watch the anime on Netflix, and thought the first season was deep and thoughtful, then watched the second season, and minus Triela vs Pino, thought it was not nearly as good.
So I read the manga, and it has been the best manga and one of the best books in general I’ve ever read.
