Same. At first I disliked her because of the fanservice, now her character is starting to grow on me (I like the cutesy and curious thing. She's kind of an attention whore, too, but no more than most teenage girls)... which makes me feel like a dirty old man (ooh, jailbait! looky but no touchy!) ...dammit.

Third pic makes Petra... Well it's already been said hasn't it? I'm trying to reserve my opinion of her till I actually have a chance to read some more of the volumes she's in. Still though, I miss the original girls.

My reaction to Petra and 'Sandro was initially unfavorable, but I suppose that's being rather unfair - as Wileama said, we ought to reserve judgment until we see more of her in action.

That's true. I guess part of the problem is I really can't read vol 7. So I kind of miss the fact the other girls are in there. It just seems like Petra is taking center stage in the new volumes to the exclusion of the other girls. How justified is that?

Let me actually read the later volumes, and I'll tell you.

So far, most of my criticism was focused on the way that she was introduced, and how it altered the story. I'll uspend judgement of her as a character till I can get down to those later volumes.

I just hate the fact that she's been the star of 3 volumes. None of the original girls have come close to that. If Yu is so fucking crazy about her, he should make a spin-off series dedicated to Petra alone. That would make everyone happy.

I somehow feel that everyone would be even happier if it were Triela who got three volumes' worth of stardom.

IMO Petra is hot enougth to have an entire series on her own. A spin off series would be kind of fun, perhaps maybe Yuu can focus on a whole diffrent set of themes... GSG focuses on handler-cyborg relationships, GSG-2 focuses on 'Sandro trying to (not?) get laid. And, it would be nice to see what the other Gen2's are like since we don't see them much.

Hmmm... for some reason when you put The Gen2's, I thought of Love Hina. Comepletely random I know, but that's the way my wierd, demented mind works.

Excellent suggestion. I can also see them making contact with their target's by posing as call girl's. I also have no doubt that The Gen2's will be fan service heaven.

I was mostly criticising myself; I caught myself still far from the edge of the world but drifting uncontrolably in that direction without even noticing it. Untasteful, and explicit perhpas, but also hilarious. I don't know I think this particular meme takes us on occasion. Though I don't recall it ever growing this large. I am however a relative new comer. Anyway this is nothing I would lay at your feet. If this is anyones fault it's mine. I helped to really get it go, and have since fanned the flames higher.
