Inhuman - A GSG's worst nightmare.

Given the success of the GSG, Normal Humans that can fight GSG thread, I thought this too might be an intresting topic given that some of the suggestions were less than mundane.

In this thread we put forward and discuss less than normal such as cyborgs (The Major), a ninja (Kurenai), a death god (Ai), that would possibly be a match or a better for a GSG. And of course, we can also discuss how our poor little GSGs can knock heards to bring down a titan that a straight out gunfight can't defeat.

I'm making this thread becuases becuase I half fear Naruto refrences to start popping up in the other thread with the advent of ninjas. Ninjas in Naruto are NOT normal, but still human (more or less). That and The Major, who isn't human at all, deserves some limelight.

Bring Alucard into the picture. That bloodsucker can PWN anything.

Enma Ai will send them to hell!!!

Almost any Mecha. While techinically a vehicle, it would be very bad ass. This includes transformers.

John 117, as he too is a cyborg, with bad ass armor, deserves a mention. Can an army of zombies count as one 'entity'? Vash the stampede. Wolverine, and Superman to name but a few of the Marvel/DC heroes who could do the job. The Joker would be a cool villain for the girls to take on.

The Major is more, or less the end product the SWA wants to create. As such she should easily be able to destroy any of the earlier prototypes. Again she is a bad ass.

I'm putting in a vote for Evangeline A.K. McDowell, especially if she's not under the effects of the Infernus Scholacticus curse. I still get shivers from the End of the World spell she has. That, and if you are turned into a puppet, there is no really way to fight back now is there?

As for Ebony and Ivory, I always thought they were chambered in .454 Casull. They have unlimited ammo anyway, to the size of the bullet won't limit how many rounds his guns can hold. I'm no expert on this though.

A Diaclonus would be a hell of a challenge for a GSG. I'd say Rico would stand the best chance of taking down one with her SVD, since gettig within range of their vectors would only lead very quick and painless death.

More candidates; Since the SWA are from Rome, lets get some adversaries that arr Catholic. Ciel from the Burial Agency, Yumiko Takagi and Hienkel Wolfe from Iscariot, and Father Ivan Isaccs from... wait, is he even Catholic?

Interesting you'd mention Anderson taking Triela under his wing, Sasahara - I've actually got partially-finished concept art of 'Vampire Hunter Triela' lying around somewhere, with her taking on a role akin to Anna of Van Helsing fame. I'm at a loss as to whether Hillshire will be the famous vampire hunter or take on the persona of Dracula, though - I feel, however, that a torrid forbidden love/hate romance and the whole twisted psychosexual Freudian/Electra complex undertones would be better served by the latter (Sheo, that's for ya, buddy). Besides, it's a fact largely lost on the modern day viewer that the Dracula affair was actually one of Van Helsing's last missions - he was an old man by that point in time.

Nanya Shiki; power to kill instantly (mmm, death perception), accuracy of an experienced knife fighter, athletics ability twice that of any fanciful depictation of ninja - one hit from him and it's all over. He can run along ceilings, bounce between walls, move fast enough that he's a blur of flesh and knife. It's not that he's invulnerable; every time he tries to kill something by way of one-hitting it he risks flatlining and he's still got a slightly anaemic human body.

Ryougi Shiki; will kill your bullets, will kill your gun, will kill your limbs, might be merciful enough to kill you as well. The ability to destroy concepts at a metaphysical level is very, very scary. Doesn't have the inborn muscle memory of Nanaya Shiki, though.

Ciel; unkillable, some kind of twisted metaphysical logic prevented her from dying before Roa, whether we take her before or after Roa's death she still has Nanako. Conceptual weapons are fucking awesome. Admittedly she could still be hurt badly, but she couldn't die, she'd regenerate quickly after a short while. She's also quite strong and is extremely well trained, has a lot of experience with the wrong end of torture.

V from V for Vendetta should skip the girls and go straight against the Major

The Major is out of V's league. The Major is at least as fast, probably faster. The same goes for strength. She is significantly more durable then the SWA girls, and has more combat training. All of V's advantages are lost on such a character.

Wait you know what would be a cool fight? Worf! With his Klingon strength, and trusty bat'leth he would make today a good day to die!

Having the girls fight Aliens would also be pretty cool. That acid will melt them to nothing. Maybe even getting caught in an Aliens vs Predator fight would be nifty.

There's a Predator/GSG crossover in the 'Mature' section of FF.net's GSG archive. Too bad the author seems to have given up on it, as well.

Now that you mention it yes I do recall it. To be honest that particular work left me... Unimpressed. The internal monologue for the Predator alone doomed that story in my eyes.

Talking about the major brings up an odd question; what if she, despite the barriers of time and space being in the way, popped into the SWA to give the younglings a few pointers in 'Public Security'?

More so than decending from Leonidas or getting a few pointers from Anderson, I think this would be an enlightening experience for Triela.

Y'now, I just wondered what would it be like if the SWA had a hotde of Tachikomas instead of pint sized cyborgs.

I think a Vulcan going up against the girls would be funnier. Assuming the nerve pinch still works (is the nerve even there anymore), The look on Hillshire's face when triela goes down in one little hand motion will be hilarious.

Angie versus the Xenomorphs, now that will be a sight to see.

Which model? A triple eight? Model one-oh-one? T one-thousand? In any case, brute force is not going to be in the GSG's favor. And conventional weapons do jack shit to a Terminator's endoskeleton (still laugh whenever I think of that scene at the end of T:SCC episode 1... SWAT Team = 'No threat').

I would love to see a fight between him and Angelica. Both of them are complete badasses as long as their bodies (or in Angie's case, her meds) hold out. Imagine, they fight like hell then their both fall to ther ground (Shiki: "Ack, Anemia!", Angie: "Ohhh, tired...") thus bringing an ebic battle to an anticlimatic end.

And then, knowing Shiki, his gland kicks in and the next thing you kniow, his collection of wierd and wonderful suitors now had a cyborg to round things all off.

... would Triela be affected by the gland? I mean, she pratically has a Harem of her own right now with all the OCs chasing after her. Hillshire fills the awkward sibling love bit too.

Someone, I can not remember who, was talking about doing a Gunslinger girl, Ghost in the Shell crossover. I think he decided that to have the Major start as a late model cyborg from the SWA. The SWA was going to be closed, the major, and one of the Cannon cyborgs was going to be transfered to Japan. Don't know what ever happened to it. I must say that a cross over between the two would be quite appealing.

Worst: the GsG girls vs. a Star Trek Borg invasion...

The girls huddle together and talk amoung themselves. After over aminute, they break out of the huddle.

Triela grabs the borg queen by her arm, rips it off and beats the crap out of borg closest to her. The other girls attack the other borgs, wrecking the Queen's room. After taking off her glasses, Claes jumps on Borg Queen.

Claes: Primative? I'll Show You Primative!

Claes grabs onto the Queen's 'hair' and repeatedly bangs the queen's head against a nearby wall...

The Borg are pretty bad ass. I don't know why no one ever seems to remember guns, or at least rail/coil guns when fighting the borg. Honestly though I think they are at the very least a match for the SWA cyborgs. I think they are superior in almost every way to the girls. The only thing the girls probably have going for them are speed. I don't think it would be an easy win by a long shot.

I took it more for mood though, then to pick a role. I don't think a one to one character replacement is not a good idea.In an Alien piece of work, you have to kill a lot of characters it's a given. If you where to try to recreate the move with the SWA though here is what the cast might look like:

Speaking of Xeno... what about the nice young men over at the Adeptus Astartes? I'm sure they would be a challenge for the GSGs to take down, supersoldiers armed with bigass gyrojet gunsa and all.

Alex Vance does fairly well without a HEV suite, and she's not even a cyborg. I think Claes will be fine.

Space marines are always fun. There are so many flavors though. Aliens space marines, Starcraft space marines, Warhammer space marines? So many choices, each delectable in there own way. You know, I bet the girls would make good Ghosts.

You know what would be truely awesome? Aperture Science. Doing what we must, because we can. I don't know how it would work, just that it would have to be awesome...

Actually, Gordon's old HEV suit (the one in HF-1) should still be floating around... somewhere... Maybe Claes could track it down herself instead of going to old Back Mesa. Except it's probaly in the G-man's hands, so that is other problem entirely.

Nanoha would probably end up 'befriending' the girls... assuming they didn't just blast her mid transformation sequence. Taking the initiative is important, you know?

I do have to admit that Nanoha is actually kind of awesome though, in spite of the lameness of the first season's start (I saw the second season first) and that feeling that both the first two seasons were awfully perverted for a show were the main character was nine years old. Too bad Season three wasn't better. C'mon, with now totally legal (and super hot) nineteen year old Nanoha and Fate, that show should have been super awesome.

Hey now. Don't you know it's against the rules to attack someone in mid transformation? And that goes for all transformations. The only person/thing to break the rules was Infermon from Digimon: Our War Game and look at what happened to him. He got a sword through the head... twice, maybe three times if Armageddemon is considered to be part of Diaboromon's conciousness. Never-the-less, dire consequences come to those who attack mid transformation. It's not just a rule, it's fate.

Oh yeah, and I'm sure a lot of mega level digimon could tear the girls apart.

I seem to recall that Metal Garurumon had some kind of cannon in his mouth, and Omnimon is capable of utilizing this cannon, too. Do they count?

I have a general idea what kinds of Digimon would suit Triela and Angie. Have no idea what the other girls would use.

Beelzemon has his double barreled Berenjena shotguns. And his Blast Mode has a giant cannon attached to his right arm.

Hey Sasahara, Claes could have a Lalamon. She'd like the idea that it's a plant, but Lalamon's additude would probably annoy her.

I smell a fanfic idea coming on. The barrier between the Real World and the Digital World is crumbling. The World's only hope lies in seven (maybe eight) girls-turned-cyborgs to protect both worlds with their new digimon partners. And they certainly can't forget about their day jobs.
