Sir Terry Pratchett has passed away
after a long battle with Alzheimer's the multi award winning author has passed away aged just 66,with his cat on his lap and with his family around him, he tweeted his own death !
"AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER."
Death always speaks in capitols
I loved his books, he was Britain's best selling author until JK Rowling published Harry potter, I liked his humorous take on the absurdity of life and the sarcastic way politicians and businesses treat most of us in real life ,was dealt with by wry humour and wit in the Discworld

Re: Sir Terry Pratchett has passed away
Not the news I really wanted to wake up to... though I like to think he'd find some humour in it being Friday the 13th.
I've been a fan of Pratchett and the Discworld since, well, since I can remember, certainly since before I could read: mum used to bring audio books home from the library and I'd go to sleep listening to them.
Yeah, bit gutted.

I read my first Discworld book when I was 13. I still own that book to this day. May his work inspire a new generation of creativity now...and forever.

Re: Sir Terry Pratchett has passed away
his daughter is apparently going to continue writing Discworld stories ,she helped write the last 2 books
apparently there's a petition on Change.Org to have death bring him back, it quotes the author
'There are times in life when people must know when not to let go. Balloons are designed to teach small children this.'
